• Keep away from materials like curtains, fabrics or furniture. 
• Keep candles away from sources of draught.
• Do not place candles under shelves.
• Keep clothes and hair away from the flame.
• Keep children and pets away and leave them alone when a candle is lit.
• Do not move a candle when it is lit.

• Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch, this ensures a clean and even burn on the wick.
• Burn long enough so there will be a pool of wax for fragrance, but avoid burning a candle for more than 4 hours, this will cause the wick to become unstable.
• Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame as this will prevent smoke, hot wax splatter and will preserve the candle to its high quality.
• Store the candle in a cool dark place as this will prevent heat and light to degrade the wax and scent.
